Job summary

SM Supermalls is seeking a qualified Electrical Engineering professional to supervise the mall's MEPFS operations, maintenance, and replacements. The role includes planning repairs and ensuring compliance with government standards for a safe, efficient mall environment.

The candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and a Professional License in the related field, with supervisory experience in electro-mechanical maintenance preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Professional license in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Experience in electro-mechanical maintenance and/or construction works in a supervisory capacity is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee mall engineering operations by managing MEPFS systems, maintenance, and utilities to ensure efficient, safe, and compliant facility operations.
• Review and evaluate tenant MEPFS plans to ensure adherence to mall design standards and support inspections for construction, renovation, and expansion works.
• Act as Pollution Control Officer ensuring full compliance with environmental laws, permits, and pollution control standards for air, water, and waste management.
• Implement preventive maintenance and safety measures for facilities and equipment while coordinating with contractors and government agencies.
• Promote continuous learning and team development through training participation, technical mentorship, and performance improvement initiatives.

Job description

Responsible in the supervision of the mall’s equipment operations in order to provide the necessary utilities for the operation of the mall. Involves planning and implementation of repairs, maintenance, and replacements of MEPFS equipment and the related systems for the safe and efficient operations of the mall. Ensures compliance of the Mall (establishment) in the standards set forth by the government agencies and local government units. The function will also act as the assigned Pollution Control Officer of the mall.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Oversee mall engineering operations by managing MEPFS systems, maintenance, and utilities to ensure efficient, safe, and compliant facility operations.

Educational and Experience Requirements:

• With working experience in line with managing business facilities (high rise building operational equipment)
