Job summary

SM Supermalls seeks a skilled Mall MEPFS Supervisor to oversee the supervision of equipment operations ensuring safe and efficient mall utilities. The role includes planning repairs, maintenance, and replacements of MEPFS equipment, and ensuring compliance with government standards.

You will manage contractors, monitor performance, and coordinate with tenants while enforcing safety and driving continuous technical training. Work location is SM Bicutan Tower in Parañaque, Philippines.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising MEPFS in large commercial facilities.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and compliance.
• Ability to plan and manage contractors and projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee MEPFS operations and maintenance for mall electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and fire systems to run safely.
• Manage bidding, inspections, and progress monitoring of contractor work to meet standards and timelines.
• Monitor water and power usage; analyze data and implement corrective actions.
• Review MEPFS plans and conduct inspections to support tenant coordination and service requests.
• Enforce safety standards and participate in ongoing training for team development.

Job Description:

Position description: Responsible in the supervision of the mall’s equipment operations in order to provide the necessary utilities for the operation of the mall. Involves planning and implementation of repairs, maintenance, and replacements of MEPFS equipment and the related systems for the safe and efficient operations of the mall. Ensures compliance of the Mall (establishment) in the standards set forth by the government agencies and local government units.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Oversee MEPFS operations and maintenance to ensure all mall mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire systems are functioning efficiently and safely.
• Manage contractors and projects by handling bidding, inspections, and progress monitoring to meet EDD standards and timelines.
• Ensure optimal utility performance through regular monitoring, analysis, and implementation of corrective measures on water and power consumption.
• Support tenant coordination by reviewing MEPFS plans, conducting inspections, and addressing technical service concerns.
• Promote safety and professional growth by enforcing safety standards and participating in continuous learning and technical training initiatives.
