Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking a Permitting Associate in the Philippines to support renewable energy projects from origination to construction readiness, focusing on permitting, stakeholder coordination and project monitoring.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in environmental and regulatory permits, deep knowledge of DENR processes, and readiness to travel for field-based activities. Hybrid setup with on-site and field duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any field.
• 3–5 years of experience in environmental and regulatory permits with DENR and/or renewable energy sector.
• Strong knowledge of DENR processes and public land permitting requirements.
• Experience interfacing with government agencies and processing regulatory permits and clearances.
• Willingness to travel frequently for field-based permitting activities.

Responsibilities

• Support the Permitting Manager and Project Manager from origination through construction and commissioning.
• Develop and maintain project permitting timelines, milestones, schedules, and budgets.
• Organize and manage the database of project permitting documents.
• Coordinate with national and local agencies to secure permits, clearances, and endorsements.
• Collaborate with technical and environmental teams to align outputs with permitting requirements.
• Liaise with land and external affairs teams to align permitting with land acquisition and social aspects.
