Job summary

Alternergy Holdings Corporation seeks a Regulatory and Compliance Officer to secure and renew permits, licenses, and regulatory clearances for renewable energy projects in the Philippines. The role requires deep familiarity with energy and environmental laws and strong interagency coordination across multiple sites.

Key duties include maintaining permit calendars, preparing regulatory reports, and coordinating with legal on compliance and disputes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Law or related field.
• J.D. is an advantage; post-graduate training in environmental law or energy regulation is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years in permitting, regulatory compliance or government relations.
• Experience with Philippine regulatory agencies (DOE, DENR-EMB, ERC, NGCP, LGU, NCIP).
• Proficiency in MS Office and document management systems; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end permitting for renewable energy projects including ECC/EIA and licenses.
• Monitor regulatory updates; prepare and submit regulatory reports and correspondences.
• Coordinate with Legal on disputes, risk management, and compliance.
• Represent the company in hearings and government meetings.
• Maintain comprehensive permitting trackers and documentation.
