Job summary

Citicore Renewable Energy Corporation (CREC) is seeking a Procurement Assistant with an engineering background to support procurement for renewable energy projects in the Philippines. The role involves sourcing materials, evaluating specifications, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery for solar and renewable energy projects.

Responsibilities include RFQ consolidation, PO preparation, supplier evaluation, and maintaining procurement records.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline.
Experience in procurement, purchasing, construction, energy, or project environments is advantageous.
Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist in sourcing engineering, construction, and operational materials.
Review and consolidate RFQs from accredited suppliers.
Coordinate with vendors on pricing, technical specs, lead times, and delivery schedules.
Support the preparation and issuance of Purchase Orders (POs).
Monitor procurement status and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
Assist in evaluating supplier quotations from commercial and technical perspectives.
Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, and contract documentation.
Coordinate with Engineering, Project Management, Warehouse, and Operations teams.
Prepare procurement reports, vendor comparisons, and purchasing analytics.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
