Qualifications

Citicore Renewable Energy Corporation (CREC) is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Assistant to support the procurement requirements of our renewable energy projects. This role is ideal for candidates with an engineering background who are interested in developing their career in supply chain, purchasing, and project procurement within the renewable energy industry.

The successful candidate will assist in sourcing materials, evaluating technical specifications, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services for ongoing solar and renewable energy projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the sourcing and procurement of engineering, construction, and operational materials.
• Review and consolidate requests for quotations (RFQs) from accredited suppliers.
• Coordinate with vendors regarding pricing, technical specifications, lead times, and delivery schedules.
• Support the preparation and issuance of Purchase Orders (POs).
• Monitor procurement status and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Assist in the evaluation and comparison of supplier quotations from both commercial and technical perspectives.
• Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, and contract documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement, purchasing, construction, energy, or project-related environments is an advantage.
• Ability to understand engineering drawings, technical specifications, and material requirements is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to procurement or supply chain processes during internships or previous employment.
• Experience in renewable energy, EPC, construction, utilities, or manufacturing industries.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms is an advantage.
