Job summary

Citicore Renewable Energy Corporation seeks a Procurement Assistant to support sourcing and purchasing for solar and renewable energy projects. You will collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, Warehouse, and Operations to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.

The role requires an engineering background, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency in Excel. You will develop procurement reports, evaluate supplier quotations, and maintain accurate procurement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in procurement, purchasing, construction, energy, or project environments is an advantage.
• Ability to understand engineering drawings, technical specifications, and material requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the sourcing and procurement of engineering, construction, and operational materials.
• Review and consolidate requests for quotations (RFQs) from accredited suppliers.
• Coordinate with vendors regarding pricing, technical specifications, lead times, and delivery schedules.
• Support the preparation and issuance of Purchase Orders (POs).
• Monitor procurement status and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Assist in the evaluation and comparison of supplier quotations from both commercial and technical perspectives.
• Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, and contract documentation.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Project Management, Warehouse, and Operations teams regarding procurement requirements.
• Prepare procurement reports, vendor comparisons, and purchasing analytics.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
