Job summary

BruntWork is seeking a Xero Bookkeeper for a UK client in transportation and taxi services. This remote, part-time role (20 hours per week) places you at the core of day-to-day bookkeeping, ensuring Xero stays current, bank reconciliations are accurate, and invoices are processed promptly.

You will prepare financial reports to inform crucial business decisions and maintain precise records. Strong English communication and UK accounting knowledge are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience with Xero accounting software, especially bank reconciliations.
• Familiarity with UK VAT returns and company returns.
• Strong English communication and high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Manage bank reconciliations in Xero and ensure all transactions are accurately matched.
• Process incoming invoices and bills and enter into the accounting system.
• Prepare and compile financial reports to support business decisions.
• Maintain up-to-date bookkeeping across accounts and support administrative tasks.
