Emapta Philippines is seeking a US Loan Officer Assistant to apply Encompass LOS expertise and U.S. mortgage knowledge to strengthen file quality and underwriting readiness. This remote role supports loan officers nationwide with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

You'll collaborate across teams, manage multiple files in a high-volume environment, and leverage your knowledge of conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA loans to ensure compliant documentation and timely closings.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of direct U.S. mortgage experience in loan origination, processing, opening, or a Loan Officer Assistant role.
• Hands-on experience using Encompass Loan Origination System (LOS) is required and non-negotiable.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA loan documentation and processes.
• Experience with Automated Underwriting Systems (AUS), including DU and LPA/LP.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Approval Support: Prepare TBD approval disclosures; Send LEs via Blend or LOS; Run AUS findings; Review borrower documentation; Prepare files for Pre-Approval Underwriting.
• Loan File Setup: Create and maintain U.S. mortgage loan files in Encompass or LOS; complete 1003 URLA documentation; rename and organize documents.
• Order Third-Party Services: Verify VOE/WVOE, EOI, HOA certificates, tax transcripts, and other docs; obtain mortgage payoff statements.
