GrowthAssistant is seeking talented UGC Video Editors to turn raw creator footage and product content into engaging short‑form videos for paid social and digital marketing.

Edit UGC and performance-focused creatives for Meta, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, focusing on hooks, pacing, captions, b‑roll, and motion graphics while staying on brand.

We value 3+ years of experience and the ability to handle multiple projects in a fully remote, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional video editing experience.
• Experience editing UGC, paid social, performance marketing, DTC, e-commerce, product-focused, or digital advertising content.
• Strong understanding of hooks, pacing, storytelling, retention, and what makes short-form content engaging.
• Ability to take raw or loosely structured footage and turn it into a cohesive, polished video.
• Strong working knowledge of video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or comparable platforms.
• Experience working with captions, b-roll, text overlays, sound design, transitions, and simple motion graphics.
• Ability to work across different brand styles rather than relying on one editing aesthetic.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deliverables and revisions.
• Comfortable receiving creative direction and incorporating feedback quickly.
• A portfolio that clearly demonstrates your editing capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Transform raw footage and assets into engaging short-form content.
• Edit paid social ads with clear hook-to-CTA flow.
• Build strong opening hooks and maintain attention via cuts and pacing.
• Incorporate product footage, B-roll, graphics, and screenshots.
• Add captions, overlays, and motion elements that enhance the edit.
• Develop variations by testing hooks, cuts, CTAs, and lengths.
• Adapt content for Meta, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, etc.
• Follow brand guidelines and adjust editing style per brand.
• Incorporate feedback and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
