GrowthAssistant is seeking talented UGC Video Editors to turn raw creator footage and product content into engaging short‑form videos for paid social and digital marketing.

Edit UGC and performance-focused creatives for Meta, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, focusing on hooks, pacing, captions, b‑roll, and motion graphics while staying on brand.

We value 3+ years of experience and the ability to handle multiple projects in a fully remote, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional video editing experience.
• Experience editing UGC, paid social, performance marketing, DTC, e-commerce, product-focused, or digital advertising content.
• Strong understanding of hooks, pacing, storytelling, retention, and what makes short-form content engaging.
• Ability to take raw or loosely structured footage and turn it into a cohesive, polished video.
• Strong working knowledge of video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or comparable platforms.
• Experience working with captions, b-roll, text overlays, sound design, transitions, and simple motion graphics.
• Ability to work across different brand styles rather than relying on one editing aesthetic.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deliverables and revisions.
• Comfortable receiving creative direction and incorporating feedback quickly.
• A portfolio that clearly demonstrates your editing capabilities.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for talented UGC Video Editors who know how to turn raw creator footage, testimonials, product content, and existing assets into engaging short-form videos that capture attention and drive action.

You’ll work with fast-growing brands across industries, editing primarily UGC and performance-focused creative for paid social and digital marketing channels. The right editor understands how strong hooks, pacing, storytelling, captions, b-roll, and visual variety come together to create content that feels native to social while still supporting performance goals.

What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like

• UGC Video Editing: Transform raw creator footage, testimonials, product videos, and other assets into polished, engaging short-form content.
• Performance Creative: Edit paid social ads with a clear flow from hook to problem, solution, product value, and CTA while keeping content natural and authentic.
• Hooks & Pacing: Build strong opening hooks and maintain attention through thoughtful cuts, pacing, pattern interrupts, visual changes, and storytelling.
• B-Roll & Supporting Visuals: Incorporate product footage, lifestyle content, b-roll, graphics, screenshots, and other supporting assets to strengthen the story.
• Captions & Text Treatments: Add clean, engaging captions, text overlays, callouts, and simple motion elements that enhance rather than overwhelm the creative.
• Creative Iteration: Develop variations of existing concepts by testing different hooks, cuts, CTAs, lengths, messaging, and creative approaches.
• Platform Optimization: Adapt content for platforms such as Meta, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and other short-form channels.
• Brand Alignment: Follow brand guidelines and creative direction while adjusting editing style across different brands and audiences.
• Feedback & Collaboration: Incorporate creative feedback quickly and manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of professional video editing experience, with a portfolio demonstrating strong short‑form, UGC, or performance‑focused work.
• Experience editing UGC, paid social, performance marketing, DTC, e-commerce, product‑focused, or digital advertising content.
• A strong understanding of hooks, pacing, storytelling, retention, and what makes short‑form content engaging.
• Ability to take raw or loosely structured footage and turn it into a cohesive, polished video.
• Strong working knowledge of video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or comparable platforms.

Sign-on Bonus: $300 bonus upon successful completion of the first 90 days of employment
