Job summary

High Scale is seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Video Editor to support our post-production team in delivering high-quality video content at scale. You will organize footage, assemble rough cuts, and assist editors on social media ads for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of experience, are proficient in Premiere Pro, and comfortable working remotely with a global team; strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines are essential.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in video editing or post-production.
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro; After Effects is a plus.
• Familiar with short-form video formats for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts.
• Strong understanding of editing techniques, pacing, and audio sync.
• Highly organized with excellent file management and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Organize, label, and manage raw footage, audio files, graphics, and other production assets.
• Review and select the best footage, takes, and sound bites for video projects.
• Create rough cuts and assemble footage based on scripts and briefs.
• Assist Senior Video Editors with editing short-form ads for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
• Synchronize audio and video, organize multicamera footage, and prepare project timelines.
• Add basic transitions, subtitles, captions, sound effects, and music when needed.
• Resize and reformat videos for different social media platforms and placements.
• Implement revisions based on feedback from Editors, Producers, and Creative Strategists.
• Perform quality checks to ensure videos meet specs and brand guidelines.
• Export, upload, and organize final deliverables per project requirements.
• Maintain organized project files with proper naming, versioning, and asset management.
