Job summary

TubeScience is seeking an experienced payroll professional to own U.S. payroll, contractor payments, and EOR payroll support across the company. You will help build the payroll function as we grow, ensuring accurate, on-time payments and compliant processes from a remote location.

The role requires 5+ years of payroll experience, with at least 3 years directly administering U.S. payroll, and hands-on Rippling expertise.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of payroll experience, including at least 3 years directly administering U.S. payroll.
• Hands-on experience processing payroll in Rippling.
• Experience managing multi-state U.S. payroll; California and/or New York preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. payroll taxes, wage deductions, and final-pay rules.
• Experience independently investigating and resolving payroll discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Own regular and off-cycle U.S. payroll processing in Rippling.
• Validate inputs: hires, terminations, compensation changes, bonuses, deductions.
• Administer and reconcile contractor payments.
• Coordinate payroll and bonus processing through EOR partners.
• Validate EOR payroll calculations and reconcile invoices.
• Manage multi-state payroll requirements and tax filings.
• Administer benefits deductions and retirement contributions.
• Maintain accurate payroll data and troubleshoot configurations.
