Job summary

VIPRE Security Group, part of the Ziff Davis family, is seeking a Test Engineer to shape QA processes and ensure high-quality software throughout the full project lifecycle. This fully remote role collaborates with developers and stakeholders in a fast-paced agile environment.

You will review requirements, build test plans, create automated tests, and perform release testing while driving quality improvements and efficiency across teams.

Qualifications

1-2 years of QA experience with exposure to test automation.
Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
Ability to work across different programming languages.
Knowledge of software QA processes and methodologies.
Experience in Agile/SDLC environments.

Responsibilities

Review product, feature, and design specs to ensure coverage.
Define user stories and create detailed test plans.
Develop and maintain manual test cases.
Drive automation efforts to increase testing efficiency and coverage.
Coordinate with stakeholders to meet milestones and reporting requirements.
Perform feature, regression, and release testing.
Write clear bug reports and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
