Job summary

CodeRoad is seeking an Intermediate Automation QA Engineer (Level 2) to contribute to automated test tasks within a Product Oriented Delivery team. You will write clean automation scripts, participate in Agile ceremonies, and drive test automation initiatives with increasing independence.

You will collaborate with seniors on complex testing while managing your own time to meet sprint goals and ensure high-quality delivery. This role offers remote work for a USA contractor and USD compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 2–4 years of professional QA Automation/SDET experience in Agile/Scrum.
• Experience with Git version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright automation frameworks.
• Solid English proficiency for client-facing collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Deliver automated UI and API tests; fix flaky tests and perform maintenance.
• Follow best automation practices (DRY, Page Object Model, linting).
• Own local execution validations to ensure reliable scripts.
• Actively participate in daily stand-ups, grooming, and retrospectives.
• Contribute to code reviews and documentation to support the test framework.
• Learn and master automation tools and CI/CD technologies; follow Git workflows.
