Job summary

Outsource Access is seeking a detail‑oriented structural engineer to design foundations and prepare CAD drawings for residential and commercial projects. You will work with architects and contractors to resolve issues before construction begins, ensuring compliance with ASCE 7 wind loads.

The role requires an EIT or PE (preferred), strong English/Spanish communication, and a proactive approach to documenting processes and workflows.

Qualifications

• Degree in structural engineering with EIT or PE preferred.
• Fluent English and/or Spanish communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail within scope, budget, and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Design conventional reinforced concrete and other foundations for residential and commercial projects.
• Prepare precise CAD structural drawings including foundation and framing plans.
• Coordinate with architects and general contractors to resolve design conflicts.
• Review geotechnical reports and perform wind load calculations per ASCE 7.
