Job summary

MEBS Construction OPC is seeking an experienced Structural Analysis Engineer for a Work From Home, project-based role. You will perform structural analyses, prepare designs, and coordinate drawings for residential and commercial projects.

Applicants must be adept with structural software, able to work independently, and meet deadlines. ASEP membership is a plus; BOQ/cost estimates experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in structural analysis and structural design.
• Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles, calculations, and design standards.
• Experience preparing structural computations and drawings.
• Experience designing residential and commercial structures.
• Proficiency with structural analysis and design software.
• Must have own computer/laptop and necessary software/equipment.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• ASEP membership is a plus.
• Experience in BOQ / Cost Estimates is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and calculations.
• Prepare structural design recommendations.
• Design structural members such as foundations, columns, beams, slabs, and other structural components.
• Prepare or coordinate structural drawings.
• Review architectural plans for structural requirements.
• Coordinate with Architects, Civil Engineers, and Management.
• Prepare BOQ / Quantity Take-Off / Cost Estimates, when required.
• Revise structural analysis and design based on approved project changes.
