Job summary

Opensity Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant to join its finance team in Manila. The role supports month-end close, financial reporting, year-end audits, and budgeting activities, ensuring accurate reconciliations and well-documented supporting schedules.

Key responsibilities include journal entries under US GAAP, balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis, and cross-functional collaboration with FP&A and operations to drive process improvements and strong internal

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA, CA, ACCA preferred but not required.
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Proficiency with US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Experience with Sage Intacct and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close processes and ensure timely close with accurate documentation.
• Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with US GAAP.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling items.
• Support budgeting and reforecasting with variance analysis.
• Assist with internal and external audits and provide schedules.
