Job summary

MultiplyMii in the Philippines (Remote) is seeking a Staff Accountant to lead and support the finance team, manage daily accounting operations, and ensure accurate financial records across multiple jurisdictions. You will assist with budgeting and forecasting, support month- and year-end closings, and collaborate with external auditors to ensure regulatory compliance and timely financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in NetSuite and Microsoft Excel is required.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with corporate accounting practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the finance team, providing training and coaching as needed to support professional development and performance.
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements and ensure accuracy in all financial records.
• Manage daily accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies.
• Collaborate with external auditors and provide required documentation for audits.
