IQ BackOffice is seeking a staff accountant/bookkeeper to manage end-to-end accounting for US-based clients from a work-from-home setup. You will maintain financial records, reconcile accounts, prepare journal entries, and produce timely reports.

The role requires professionalism, analytical thinking, and strong organization, with experience in payroll entries. Training is provided and compensation is above market, including comprehensive health insurance from day one.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• Minimum 3 years related accounting or financial control experience.
• Experience with IOLTA/Trust accounting and reconciliation a plus.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online and payroll programs is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Audit coding, payroll entries, and reconciliations for accuracy.
• Close books and produce monthly reporting package.
• Serve as client contact for missing information and questions about reports.
• Complete year-end closing and post-year-end tax adjustments.
• Support financial analysis for Controllers/Advisors.
