Job summary

Hunt St Pty Ltd is seeking a proactive Virtual Assistant with Solar Design Experience to support an Australian solar business from the Philippines. This 100% remote contractor role focuses on solar design and proposal work using OpenSolar, while handling administrative tasks to keep projects on track.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on solar design experience and the ability to work independently in a remote environment. Training is provided on internal processes and Australian market practices.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in solar design, drafting or similar role.
• Experience preparing solar system layouts, designs, and customer proposals.
• Familiarity with OpenSolar or similar solar design software preferred.
• Understanding of solar components (panels, inverters, batteries).
• Strong admin, scheduling and documentation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare solar system designs and layouts using OpenSolar or similar software.
• Develop accurate solar proposals and supporting documentation for customers.
• Manage project records and administrative requirements throughout installation.
• Assist with equipment ordering and coordinating supplier orders.
• Coordinate installation schedules with customers, installers and suppliers.
• Maintain solar project paperwork and ensure accuracy and up-to-date information.
• Support sales activities and follow up on proposals as needed.
• Learn internal workflows and identify efficiency improvements.
