Job summary

Hunt St Pty Ltd is seeking a Philippines-based Virtual Assistant with Solar Design experience to support an Australian solar business. You will design solar systems, prepare proposals using OpenSolar, and handle project admin while coordinating with customers and suppliers remotely.

As an Independent Contractor, you will align with AU business hours and manage installation schedules, equipment orders, and documentation. Training on internal processes will be provided.

Qualifications

• Hands-on solar design and proposal preparation experience.
• Experience with OpenSolar or similar software.
• Understanding of solar components (panels, inverters, batteries).
• Strong admin and organizational skills for docs, schedules, tasks.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare solar system designs and layouts using OpenSolar or similar software.
• Develop accurate solar proposals and supporting documentation for customer presentations.
• Manage project records, documentation, and administrative requirements.
• Assist with equipment lists and coordinating orders with suppliers.
• Coordinate installation schedules with customers, installers and suppliers.
• Prepare and maintain solar project paperwork to ensure accuracy and up-to-date information.
• Communicate with internal teams, customers, suppliers, and installation teams to support delivery.
• Support sales activities: quotations, follow-ups, and customer records.
• Identify opportunities to improve internal workflows as solar operations grow.
• Provide general administrative support related to solar operations.
