Job summary

BruntWork is seeking a part-time Social Media Assistant & Content Editor to bridge multimedia content creation with active social media management. You will edit podcasts and videos, repurpose content into clips and audiograms, and publish across platforms.

You’ll manage community interactions with a warm, professional tone and coordinate closely with the coach. The role is 20 hours per week, remote, requiring reliable communication, deadlines, and weekly check-ins during Mountain/Pacific US

Qualifications

• Experience in podcast/video editing and social media management.
• Proficient with video/audio editing software for podcast production and short-form content.
• Access to licensed, commercial-use music for edited content.
• Familiar with publishing content on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
• Comfortable using Google Drive and WhatsApp for communications and asset management.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Edit one weekly long-form podcast episode (video when available).
• Create 3–5 high-quality short clips for Reels/Shorts/TikTok with captions.
• Produce approximately 2 audiograms weekly from provided audio and media.
• Publish each episode to podcast platforms and YouTube on schedule, including metadata and thumbnails.
• Post 5–7 social posts weekly across major platforms with captions and hashtags.
• Respond to comments and messages, escalating sensitive issues.
• Coordinate with coach and team, provide weekly status updates.
• Possibility to take on additional administrative tasks as the business grows.
