Hire Overseas is seeking a Social Media Video Editor to turn long-form content into sharp, scroll-stopping clips for social platforms. You will clip, pace, caption, and optimize videos for formats like Reels, TikTok, and Shorts, maintaining a consistent style.

This remote role emphasizes speed, taste, and platform-aware edits, with ownership over outputs and a fast feedback loop. Collaboration with content and marketing teams is expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience editing short-form videos for social media.
• Proficiency with CapCut, Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro.
• Strong understanding of social media formats and pacing.
• Attention to captions, timing, and visual consistency.
• Ability to work quickly without sacrificing quality; clear written communication.
• Comfort working remotely and collaborating asynchronously.

Responsibilities

• Clip long-form audio/video into short-form social videos.
• Edit for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, etc.
• Add captions, pacing, framing, and polish for retention.
• Maintain consistent style and quality across outputs.
• Collaborate with content/marketing teams and meet deadlines.
