Job summary

TRA powered by Boomering is seeking a part-time SMSF Accountant to join a regional Australian firm working remotely from the Philippines. The role involves processing SMSF data, reconciling investments and income, and preparing financial statements and tax returns for multiple clients.

Ideal candidates have 2-4 years’ SMSF experience, strong organisational skills, and proficiency with Class Super or BGL Simpelfund360, MYOB, and Excel.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years’ experience in SMSF
• Highly organised and detail oriented
• Ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders
• Accurate and time-conscious work

Responsibilities

• Processing SMSF data manually or via data feed to trial balance
• Reconciling investments and investment income
• Reconciling contributions, expenses, tax and pensions
• Preparation of SMSF financial statements and associated workpapers
• Preparation of SMSF income tax and regulatory returns
• Prepare and reconcile Business Activity Statements
