Location: Clark, Philippines (Onsite only)
Shift: Monday - Thursday | 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM PHT; Friday 7:00 AM - 12:00PM PHT
Salary Range: Php 76,000 - Php 110,000 per month (depending on experience)

About the role
This role involves preparing end of year financial statements and tax returns for Australian Self-Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSFs), a type of retirement trust, as well as end of year tax returns for Australian individuals using accounting software. You will prepare Business Activity Statements (BAS), use the paperless system to prepare supporting workpapers and indexes for end of financial year work, and contact and liaise with Australian clients via phone calls and email to request information, follow up on outstanding documents and respond to queries.
Key responsibilities
Prepare end of year financial statements and tax returns for Australian Self-Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSFs)
Prepare end of year tax returns for Australian individuals using accounting software, Handitax
Prepare Business Activity Statements (BAS)
Use the paperless system to prepare supporting workpapers and indexes for end of financial year work
Contact and liaise with Australian clients via phone calls and email to request information, follow up on outstanding documents and respond to queries
Communicate professionally and confidently with clients, accountants, supervisors, and other relevant stakeholders
Manage the timely completion of allocated workflow
Complete ad hoc research tasks relating to the investment and operation of SMSFs per relevant legislation
Attend regular workflow and progress meetings with the Australian-based supervisor
About you
Must be an Accounting Graduate
3+ years experience in Australian accounting is required
Must have previous Self-Managed Super Funds (SMSF) experience
Previous experience preparing Australian tax returns, BAS, financial statements, or SMSF accounts is highly regarded
Experience using Australian accounting and taxation software, particularly Class Super and Handitax is highly regarded
Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with the confidence to communicate directly with Australian clients via phone and email
High attention to detail and strong organisational and time-management skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
Strong independent research and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively with an Australian-based team and supervisor
