Job summary

ScalableOS is seeking a Senior Mitel Voice Support Desk Systems Engineer to administer and optimize enterprise voice and unified communications environments. You will handle level 2/3 support for Mitel PBX/VoIP, troubleshoot voice quality, and coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure reliable communications.

The role requires strong Mitel hands-on experience, familiarity with Cisco Webex and Zoom platforms, and excellent incident-management and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise voice, VoIP, or unified communications environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Mitel voice/PBX systems and related administration.
• Experience with SIP, VoIP, SIP trunks, call routing, voicemail, and IP telephony.
• Working experience with Cisco Webex (Webex Calling) and Zoom (Phone/Meetings).
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and incident-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2/3 technical support for Mitel voice and unified communications environments.
• Administer, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Mitel PBX/VoIP systems (extensions, users, hunt groups, auto attendants, routing).
• Troubleshoot voice quality, registration, SIP, connectivity, and phone-related issues.
• Perform Mitel upgrades, patches, backups, configuration changes, and maintenance.
• Support Mitel IP phones, softphones, gateways, SIP trunks, and related voice infrastructure.
• Monitor voice systems and proactively identify performance and capacity issues.
• Support Cisco Webex environments (Webex Calling, meetings, messaging, devices).
• Support Zoom environments (Zoom Phone, Meetings, provisioning, features).
• Troubleshoot integration issues between voice platforms, collaboration tools, network infrastructure, and endpoints.
• Diagnose SIP, VoIP, QoS, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, firewalls, and connectivity impacting voice services.
• Manage user onboarding, moves/adds/changes, number assignments, and provisioning.
• Coordinate with carriers and vendors to resolve incidents; participate in change management.
• Maintain accurate documentation and knowledge-base articles.
