Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a VoIP Engineer to design, implement, and maintain VoIP and unified communications solutions remotely from the Philippines.

You will configure SIP, PBX, and call routing, monitor performance, and address call quality issues while integrating VoIP with CRM and collaboration tools. A strong background in VoIP protocols and PBX systems is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years in VoIP, telecom, or network engineering roles.
• Strong knowledge of VoIP protocols (SIP, RTP, H.323) and PBX systems (Asterisk, Cisco, Avaya).
• Experience troubleshooting VoIP and network issues.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, QoS, VLANs, routing, and switching.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain VoIP and unified communications systems.
• Configure and support SIP, PBX, and call routing systems for reliable voice services.
• Monitor VoIP performance and troubleshoot call quality issues (latency, jitter, packet loss).
• Integrate VoIP systems with CRM, helpdesk, or collaboration tools.
• Collaborate with network and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless communication services.
