Job summary

Goodwork is seeking a remote Senior Billing & Accounts Receivable Manager (Legal) to own billing, invoicing, collections, and AR functions across three practice areas. You’ll consolidate responsibilities and improve systems, with a focus on accuracy, client relationships, and scalable processes.

Ideal candidates bring 6–10+ years of legal billing experience, hands-on Clio Manage expertise, and a track record of implementing SOPs and AI‑driven workflows.

Qualifications

• 6–10+ years of prior experience in roles like Legal Billing Specialist, Accounts Receivable Manager, Revenue Management Manager, Senior Billing & Collections Analyst, or related.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience inside Clio Manage with direct billing and collections ownership.
• Advanced experience with billing functions: invoicing, balances, A/R reports, payment plans, reminders, and client/matter ledgers.
• Strong English communication and the ability to manage high-volume billing with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Payment Plan Setup: create deposits, engagement letters, and automated payment plans.
• Payment Recording & Invoicing: send client invoices and coordinate trust reconciliation.
• Collections & Escalation: monitor payments, contact clients, and escalate as needed.
• A/R Reporting: run aging reports and KPI metrics, report to leadership.
• Process Improvement & AI Use: document SOPs, train staff, and integrate useful tools.
