Job summary

Hunt St Pty Ltd is seeking a Mechanical HVAC Design Drafter based in the Philippines to produce high-quality 2D AutoCAD drawings and assist engineers across design stages. The role is an independent contractor engagement, remote, aligning with AU business hours for collaboration.

Candidates should have strong 2D AutoCAD skills, experience with BIM coordination (Revit), and a solid grasp of mechanical building services systems including ductwork and plant layouts. Remote work is supported.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in AutoCAD drafting within building services and mechanical HVAC design.
• Strong proficiency in 2D AutoCAD drafting.
• Hands-on experience with Revit or BIM coordination.
• Solid understanding of mechanical building services systems, including ductwork and plant layouts.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering mark-ups and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Drafts and coordinates detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings for mechanical services (AC, ventilation, exhaust, duct layouts).
• Prepare drawings for concept design through tender documentation stages.
• Produce mechanical layouts, schematics, equipment schedules, and detailed drawings per direction.
• Update drawings in response to design changes and coordination feedback.
• Provide drafting support to engineers during design and documentation processes.
