Job summary

LATAM Construction Group is seeking a skilled and highly analytical Remote Construction Estimator to join our team as a long-term contractor. You will deliver professional quantity takeoffs for large-scale residential and community projects, integrating into our pre-construction workflows and internal processes.

Proven estimation experience for US market projects, a Civil Engineering or related degree is preferred, and strong Excel skills are essential to produce organized data and vendor

Qualifications

• Experience in professional estimation for US residential, civil infrastructure, or community development projects.
• Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture is highly preferred.
• Exceptional mastery of material calculations and translating blueprints into organized spreadsheets.
• Fluent English communication for collaboration and vendor relations.

Responsibilities

• Perform meticulous quantity takeoffs from architectural, structural, and civil plans for large-scale projects.
• Prepare professional material and quantity breakdowns in Excel for final pricing.
• Lead vendor outreach to source and update material pricing and specs.
• Manage pre-construction documentation including RFIs and submittal packages.
• Track timelines and deliverables across the estimation funnel to meet bids.
• Calculate civil/site requirements with precise linear footage and area calculations.
