Job summary

DysrupIT is seeking a DevOps Engineer to build scalable, reliable infrastructure and streamline deployment cycles. The role collaborates with development, operations, and QA teams to implement DevOps practices, manage cloud environments, and develop IaC pipelines across AWS and other platforms.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in DevOps, strong scripting skills, and experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD tooling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a DevOps or related infrastructure role.
• Experience installing/configuring and supporting enterprise applications.
• Strong Linux/Windows operating systems experience.
• Scripting in Python, PowerShell or Bash.
• Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation or Ansible.
• Experience with AWS and Nutanix.
• Experience with Jira and GitHub.
• Networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DNS, VPN.
• ITIL knowledge.
• Strong communication and customer-centric attitude.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development, operations, and QA teams to design and implement DevOps practices.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (Terraform).
• Manage and scale cloud environments (AWS and Nutanix).
• Support AWS cluster setup, configuration and health.
• Create and manage CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.).
• Monitor performance of apps and infra (LogicMonitor).
• Support platform installations and health checks.
• Work with Solution Architects and Project Managers on end-to-end solutions.
• Own incidents, problems, and change records with proactive troubleshooting.
• Prepare knowledge articles and runbooks for the team.
