Job summary

JoyRide is building the next generation of mobility and payments solutions. We seek a versatile Fullstack Engineer who can own features from design to deployment, across web applications and backend services.

You will work with designers, product managers, and fellow engineers, delivering robust, scalable, and secure software while continuously improving performance and maintainability.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on fullstack development.
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript with React experience; Angular is a plus.
• Backend experience with Node.js and/or Python.
• Experience designing and using PostgreSQL databases; NoSQL familiarity is a plus.
• Cloud exposure with AWS or GCP and serverless architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications using React/Angular, Node.js, Python, and PostgreSQL.
• Develop and maintain backend APIs, services, and serverless functions on AWS/GCP.
• Ensure performance, security, and reliability of frontend and backend systems.
• Translate designs into responsive, accessible web interfaces.
• Collaborate with product, QA, and DevOps to deliver high-quality features.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and address technical debt.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and improve stack and processes.
