Job summary

STX Next is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to design and implement scalable cloud architectures across AWS/Azure/GCP. You will drive containerization with Docker and Kubernetes, automate infrastructure with Terraform/OpenTofu and CloudFormation, and implement advanced CI/CD pipelines while integrating AI into our cloud ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of commercial experience as a Cloud Engineer or DevOps.
• Hands-on with Linux OS, Docker and Kubernetes (k8s).
• Experience with at least two IaaC tools and at least two CI/CD platforms.
• Strong English communication (B2/C1+).

Responsibilities

• Design & Architect scalable, highly available cloud environments including DR.
• Manage containerization and microservices using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Integrate AI tools for infrastructure automation and AI/ML workloads.
• Develop IaC and CI/CD pipelines (Terraform/OpenTofu, CloudFormation; GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins).
• Troubleshoot performance and optimize backend tools and databases.
• Propose architecture changes balancing performance, risk, and cost.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to teammates.
