Hunt St is seeking a Senior Bookkeeper based in the Philippines to work directly with an Australian client as an independent contractor. The role follows AU business hours with remote collaboration and flexible time management for a 100% remote engagement.

Responsibilities include daily transaction posting, payroll processing, BAS/IAS, and reconciliations using Xero for multiple entities, with compliance to client deadlines and high professional standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years Australian bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Advanced skills with XERO.
• Experience with Dext, Karbon and XPM.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile all transactions daily/weekly/monthly in Xero for multiple entities.
• Process invoices in Dext.
• Prepare weekly payroll and superannuation; manage BAS/IAS.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly BAS & IAS filings.
• Monitor statutory deadlines and client returns; liaise with Manager.
