Job summary

Rovr Outsourcing is seeking a Senior Bookkeeper to provide comprehensive financial and administrative support to a CFO/advisory practice managing two closely linked companies. You will be responsible for full-cycle bookkeeping, payroll, bank reconciliation, and accounts receivable/payable while ensuring accurate financial reporting.

You will work with the client during a structured handover, support BAS lodgement via Xero Tax, and use CALXA for reporting.

Qualifications

• 10 years' full-cycle bookkeeping experience.
• Strong, hands-on MYOB experience — non-negotiable requirement.
• Strong experience with payroll, bank reconciliation, accounts receivable (Stripe) and accounts payable.
• Familiarity with CALXA and Xero Tax an advantage.
• Strong verbal grasp of the English language, given the client-facing nature of the role.
• Demonstrated ability to work with minimal day-to-day supervision once handover is complete.

Responsibilities

• Full-cycle bookkeeping across two closely linked companies, matching the scope of the outgoing bookkeeper.
• fortnightly/weekly payroll processing for approx. 20 employees.
• Bank reconciliations across two entity bank accounts.
• Accounts receivable — reconciling Stripe transactions against the books.
• Accounts payable — day-to-day payables across both entities.
• Reporting via CALXA to support oversight.
• Support BAS lodgement through Xero Tax.
• Flag discrepancies and escalate proactively.
• Collaborate with client and maintain continuity during handover.
