Job summary

LevelUp is seeking a Senior Accountant to support a US client on a 6-month remote contract from the Philippines. You'll handle accruals, month-end and year-end close, audit prep, and financial statement preparation, working closely with the Accounting Lead.

The role requires 4+ years of progressive accounting, US GAAP familiarity, and strong Excel skills. CPA is a plus, and experience with NetSuite, Coupa, and Carta is valued.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of senior accounting experience including external audit.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge and ability to support US-based clients.
• Experience with month-end/year-end close, accruals, and audit support.
• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field.

Responsibilities

• Own accruals process, review POs and contracts in Coupa to determine accruals.
• Support month-end and year-end close, ensuring books are accurate and closed on time.
• Prepare interim and year-end audit support with documentation.
• Assist in preparing financial statements with reconciliations and issue resolution.
• Prepare stock option roll forward using Carta for financial statements.
• Use prior-year work papers to investigate balances and replicate them.
• Support revenue-related work as needed.
