Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a Senior Accountant (Revenue, Billing and AR) to manage customer invoicing, AR, and month-end close for a U.S.-GAAP environment. The role focuses on accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and efficient processes while supporting US-based operations from a work-from-home setup.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of accounting experience, proficiency in Excel, and familiarity with QBO/Sage and ERP platforms. This is a remote role aligned with U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of accounting experience supporting multiple accounting functions.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP (U.S. GAAP).
• Experience with customer billing, AR, month-end close, reconciliations, AP, and financial reporting.
• Experience supporting U.S.-based accounting operations preferred.
• Strong Excel skills for data analysis, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Experience with accounting systems or ERP platforms.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO) and/or Sage preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and with U.S.-based teams.
• Ability to work required U.S. Eastern Time business hours.

Responsibilities

• Revenue, Billing & AR: prepare and submit customer invoices, manage billing records, support revenue analytics.
• Month-End Close & Financial Reporting: assist with close, journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Accounting Operations: process vendor invoices, reconciliations, and GL activities.
• Budgeting, Analysis & Process Improvement: support budgeting, variance analysis, dashboards, and ERP enhancements.
