Job summary

Veremark, a remote-first HR tech scale-up, is seeking an experienced Accountant to own month-end close, GL, and intercompany reconciliation for a defined cluster of entities. This hands-on role requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple deadlines.

You will work with the FC&O Senior Manager and finance team, maintain cash and revenue recognition, and support audits and statutory filings across entities in a rapidly growing, multi-entity SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; ACCA/CPA or equivalent preferred or in progress.
• 5-7 years of experience in accounting or finance operations with hands-on month-end close and general ledger management.
• Experience with Xero or a similar cloud-based accounting system.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Month-End Close and journal entries for assigned entities, incl. accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and adjustments.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling items.
• Ensure revenue and cost recognition aligns with accounting policies.
• Assist with close pack delivery within 10 working days of month end.
• Maintain the general ledger and intercompany processes across entities.
