Job summary

Staffstream is seeking an experienced Company Accountant to own the finance function across two entities from a fully remote Philippines-based setup. You’ll handle payroll for diverse staff arrangements, BAS, GST, and comprehensive management reporting for impactful decision-making by the Director.

With advanced Xero skills and a focus on accuracy and compliance, you’ll implement KPIs and dashboards, support cashflow forecasting, and ensure audit-ready records while coordinating across two

Qualifications

• Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of a finance function across multiple entities.
• Advanced proficiency with Xero for reconciliations, payroll, BAS and reporting.
• Experience managing payroll across full-time, part-time, casual and contractor staff.
• Strong knowledge of Australian GST, PAYG withholding and superannuation obligations.
• Proven ability to produce accurate management reports and KPI dashboards.
• Highly organized with ability to juggle priorities across two entities.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage payroll across both entities with accuracy for all employment types.
• Prepare and lodge BAS; handle GST and PAYG withholding compliance.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely, accurate processing.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and keep the GL clean and audit-ready.
• Develop monthly management reports, budgets, cashflows, and KPI dashboards.
• Assist with cashflow forecasting, budgeting, and financial modelling.
