Job summary

DCX PH Inc. is seeking a Home-Based Senior Accountant to support financial reporting and accounting operations for a US-based client in remediation and waste management.

You will handle month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and tax compliance while collaborating with cross-functional teams. The role requires 5+ years of accounting experience, CPA or CPA candidacy preferred, and strong Excel/Sage Intacct skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA license or CPA candidate status preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and its application.
• Experience with month-end close, journal entries, accruals, reconciliations.
• Experience with state and local tax filings and remittances.
• Proficiency in Excel; Sage Intacct is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post month-end journal entries, accruals and general ledger transactions.
• Perform expense allocations per policies and procedures.
• Record cash transactions and intercompany transfers.
• Reconcile bank accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and chase variances.
• Prepare and remit state and local income taxes and sales tax filings.
• Assist with annual audits and bank examinations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data and compliance.
