Hunt St Pty Ltd seeks a Senior Accountant based in the Philippines to support a US-based branch while aligning with AU business hours. This is a fully remote independent contractor role with overlap across time zones and a structured month-end process.

The role covers AP, GL, reconciliations, tax support, and month-end activities. CPA preferred; 5+ years of global accounting experience, including US/Australian exposure, is highly valued. You will collaborate with US and AU finance teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance or related field.
• CPA qualification preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience; Australian or US experience preferred.
• Strong experience in AP, reconciliations, GL, and month-end closing.
• Experience with Dynamics NAV or similar ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable and Vendor Management: manage end-to-end AP, process invoices, coordinate payments, reconcile statements, monitor unpaid invoices.
• Bank and Credit Card Reconciliations: perform reconciliations, record card transactions, identify discrepancies.
• Month-End Closing and General Accounting: post journal entries, reconcile ledgers, support timely financial reporting.
• Tax and Regulatory Compliance Support: assist external tax consultants with records and reports.
• Financial Reporting and Budget Support: prepare reports and schedules, support budgeting.
• Process Improvement and Coordination: improve workflows, maintain documentation, coordinate with teams.
