Job summary

Smart Suites is seeking a driven Business Development Manager to expand our Australian hospitality footprint from the Philippines. You will build partnerships with real estate agents, landlords, and property managers, and drive leasing opportunities across Australia.

You’ll manage the full sales cycle—from lead generation to negotiation and deal closure—while working remotely and reporting to the team in Australia. A proactive, results-oriented mindset is essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in business development, B2B sales, real estate, leasing, or related commercial roles.
• Proven ability to generate leads, develop business relationships, negotiate, and close deals.
• Excellent English communication skills, with confidence speaking to Australian clients and decision-makers.
• Strong cold calling, prospecting, presentation, and objection-handling skills.
• Highly organized with experience managing sales pipelines and CRM systems.
• Commercially minded, resourceful, and comfortable handling challenging conversations.
• Self-motivated, persistent, and able to deliver results with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Build new partnerships: Connect with real estate agents, property managers, and landlords across Australia to develop leasing opportunities.
• Drive business growth: Identify new markets, proactively source suitable properties, and establish relationships in expansion areas.
• Pitch and negotiate: Confidently explain our leasing model, handle objections, and progress discussions toward signed agreements.
• Manage your pipeline: Own the sales process from prospecting and initial contact through negotiation, follow-up, and deal conversion.
• Collaborate with the team: Support lease discussions, coordinate property assessments, and help turn opportunities into secured properties.
