Job summary

Entrepreneur Cooperative seeks a QuickBooks Financial Controller to own the company’s accounting operations. Reporting to the CFO, you will manage the General Ledger, lead the transition from external to in-house, and oversee monthly close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

This fully remote, contractor role requires deep QuickBooks expertise, English proficiency, and the ability to work across U.S. business hours.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on QuickBooks expertise and ownership of GL.
• Experience leading an accounting team (AP/AR) and payroll approvals.
• Strong detail orientation and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Configure and optimize QuickBooks for reporting and GL structure.
• Own monthly close, reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Lead AP/AR team, review invoices and client statements.
• Coordinate payroll tax and 1099 matters, maintain controls.
