Job summary

DCX Client Services – Home-Based Bookkeeper is seeking a detail-oriented bookkeeper to manage day-to-day accounting for a U.S.-based business. Responsibilities include A/P, A/R, reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting using QuickBooks Online.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with U.S. small businesses, can work independently, and maintain accuracy and confidentiality. Remote, fully work-from-home with standard hours aligned to Central Time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of bookkeeping experience.
• Experience with a U.S.-based client or business.
• Proficient in QuickBooks Online and accounting processes.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable: review, approve bills, process payments, reconcile statements.
• Accounts Receivable: issue invoices, apply payments, manage collections.
• General Accounting: post journal entries, maintain ledgers, manage tax remittances with Avalara.
• Month-End & Financial Reporting: close, prepare P&L, balance sheet, cash flows, assist budgeting.
