Job summary

NightOwl Consulting is seeking a Business Project Manager for remote work. The role requires 3–5 years of project management experience in corporate settings, with a strong foundation in mortgage or banking, and solid IT know-how to drive cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities include planning, execution, risk mitigation, and IT integration to optimize project workflows. A PMI-PMP is a plus; bachelor’s degree in relevant fields is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
• 3–5 years of project management experience in a corporate setting.
• Experience in the mortgage or banking industry is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Proficient in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello).
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic IT knowledge, including familiarity with databases, software applications, and IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Stakeholder management: collaborate with internal teams and partners to gather requirements and provide updates.
• Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure resources are used effectively.
• Monitor progress, analyze performance metrics, and report to senior management.
• Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes.
• Utilize IT tools to streamline workflows and enable data-driven decisions.
