Job summary

We Support Incorporated is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead software development initiatives in the financial services sector. The ideal candidate will manage cross-functional teams across IT and business units, ensuring adherence to SDLC, and applying Waterfall or Agile methodologies with a strong emphasis on security and regulatory compliance.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
Must have excellent communications skills (Oral/Written).
Minimum 5 years of experience as a full-time project manager in financial services, banking or insurance.
Experience managing a software development project.
Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Familiar with Waterfall and Agile/Scrum; certifications preferred (PMP/PRINCE2/SCRUM).
Proven track record managing medium to large IT projects in banking/financial sector.
Experience leading cross-functional teams through full project lifecycle (Developers, Designers, QA, BA, etc.).
Strong understanding of IT systems, technologies and methodologies in banking/financial services.
Proficient in change management to enable smooth transitions.
Ability to address resistance to change among stakeholders and end users.
Proficient in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Ability to identify and mitigate project risks related to security, compliance and data privacy.
Ability to build relationships with internal/external stakeholders including vendors and regulators.
Fast learner who can propose multiple solutions and choose the best course of action.
Self-starter, able to work independently and promote teamwork.
