KAIZEN Asset Management Services is seeking a dedicated Project Accountant to join our team in a remote capacity. The role focuses on managing project budgets, performing financial analyses, and delivering timely status reports to ensure financial health across multiple property management projects.

You will prepare budgets, monitor expenditures, review invoices, and support closing activities while collaborating with project managers to optimize cost control and planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in project accounting or related finance role.
• Knowledge of project management accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software.
• Strong analytical, detail-oriented, and independent work skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
• Monitor expenditures to ensure budget compliance.
• Review invoices and ensure timely payments to suppliers.
• Prepare monthly financial reports on project performance.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Collaborate with project managers on cost control and planning.
• Maintain project documentation for audit purposes.
• Assist the senior finance team with ad-hoc reporting.
• Perform reconciliations of project accounts.
