Job summary

RED Engineering Design is seeking a Project Accountant to oversee financial performance of assigned projects, ensuring accurate costing, budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, revenue recognition and reporting. You will partner with project managers to achieve financial objectives.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, 3–5 years of project accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and a proactive, detail‑oriented approach in a dynamic, global-project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• 3–5 years of project accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and cost reports.
• Monitor project expenditures and ensure costs are allocated correctly.
• Review and analyze project financial performance against approved budgets.
• Prepare client invoices and monitor project billings.
• Assist in revenue recognition and project accounting compliance.
• Reconcile project-related transactions and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate with project managers regarding project costs, budget utilization, and profitability.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare financial reports and management reports related to project performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and contractual requirements.
• Assist in audits and provide supporting financial documentation as required.
