Job summary

Hunt St Pty Ltd is seeking a Philippines-based Procurement & Supply Chain Manager for an independent contractor engagement. You will own procurement and inventory, manage end-to-end purchasing, forecast, negotiate with suppliers, and lead NetSuite implementation aspects.

This is a fully remote role with an Australian client, working hours aligned to Queensland and Manila time. You will collaborate with Sales, Finance, and suppliers to optimise stock and working capital.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in procurement / supply chain for an importer, wholesaler or distributor.
• NetSuite hands-on: POs, vendor records, inbound shipments, landed cost.
• Demand planning using sales history and seasonality; MOQ maths.
• Inventory optimisation including dead/slow stock and working capital.
• Indirect procurement of packaging and services; contract renewal management.
• Experience with freight, import docs, and supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Own purchasing and inventory planning across key suppliers, ensuring adequate stock while managing working capital.
• Manage full procurement cycle: forecasting, POs, supplier confirmations, lead times, inbound shipments, and goods receiving.
• Lead demand planning using sales history, seasonality, lead times, MOQs, and safety stock.
• Monitor and optimise inventory, including dead/slow-moving stock and inventory days.
• Manage supplier relationships: pricing, MOQs, delivery, disputes, scorecards, and contracts.
• Oversee inbound freight, logistics, customs docs, ETA tracking, and renewal alerts.
• Maintain procurement contracts, renewal dates, terms, rebates, and obligations.
• Support NetSuite implementation: purchasing, supplier, inbound, receiving, reorder, landed-cost.
• Provide reporting on inventory levels, purchasing activity, supplier performance, and working capital.
